INTRODUCTION
“iDECIDE- About Feeding My Baby” is an initiative by the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI)- a 32-year-old national organisation. It aims to facilitate a well- informed decision by‘would be parents’ for feeding their babies. BPNI’s iDECIDE provides authentic, accurate and trusted information on feeding of babies. This service is most useful when you hear the “Good News” especially during 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. It helps you to make a decision at a time most useful, and assists in carrying out that decision.
iDECIDE has five video modules and reading materials (in different languages).It would help you to gain maximum knowledge to make the feeding decision. It is of course a critical step towards your baby’s health, development and well-being. Once you have made the decision, you can convey it to the attending doctor /hospital and request for much needed support and services.
